ITEC NOMADS BLOW SERIES WIDE OPEN
[Tuesday, December 23, 2008 22:26:57]The Itec Nomads overcame the gale force winds that hammered the Cape Coastline on Tuesday to take their first tournament of the 2008 SPAR Hot Summer of Touch at Struisbaai.
38 Teams took part in the annual event which once again offered the biggest individual prize pool for the tour.
The R16 000 first prize was taken by the Nomads who edged out the Vodacom Amazing Galaxy Warriors in the final. The third and fourth play-off was won by the Barloworld Warriors who edged the Henties Dwergies.
