The Nomads met their arch rivals the Shufflers in the final after overcoming a very tricky draw which saw them defeating a game KOPKANA team in the last 16, the Canterbury Nomads in the Quarter Finals and then the Henties Dwergies in the Semi Final.
The participants and spectators turned up in force and a full draw of 64 teams was greeted by the biggest crowd seen on Touchies day for a long time.
The third place was taken by Henties Dwergies after they overcame the Vodacom Amazing Galaxy Warriors in the 3/4 play-off.
The Grand Prix is likely to go down to the wire with 5 teams still mathematically having a chance to win it. The next event is at Diaz Beach in Mossel Bay on Monday the 29th...
