A SAD DAY FOR TOUCH
[Thursday, December 10, 2009 09:25:23]On Monday the 7th of December, Lee Ardendolf of of the Maynard Touch Team tragically lost his life in a car accident. He was returning from the sevens tournament in Port Elizabeth.
Lee had just recently earned a contract to play Rugby with Griquas and was an integral part of the Maynard Touch Team...
In honour and respect for Lee, the Maynard Touch team have agreed to continue in the tournament on Saturday and the organisers have arranged for a later start for them with a minutes silence to be held before their first game.
Our sincere condolences go out to his family in this difficult time.
