The players and spectators were not dissapointed with stunning weather, fun and gamees with Deon Bing and Ferdi Rabie and awesome action taking place on the fields...
The Open tournament saw a record 63 teams registering. The field had unbelievable quality with great support coming from the large Touch playing population of the Strand. Overall winners were the Hawaiin Blues who beat the Amazing Galaxy Warriors second team by 3 tries to 1 in the Final.
The Pro Series was once again very evenly contested. The Amazing Galaxy Warriors put their Camps Bay disapointment behind them to get to their first final of the series. It was always going to be a tough Final against the hometown favourite Maynardt...
The crowd were not to be disapointed and the Maynardt Touchies boys closed out a sudden death drop-off win by 2 tries to 1.
The series moves to Onrus on Sunday...
