THE WIND AND THE AMAZING GALAXY WARRIORS...
[Sunday, December 12, 2010 09:00:26]The Four Cousins Hot Summer of Touch kicked off at a Gale Force Muizenberg on Saturday the 11th.
The Wind did nothing to dampen the spirits of the budding participants with 46 teams registering for the event.
Playing conditions were far from ideal and credit must go to all the players and officials for braving the up to 60km winds, stinging sand and a burning sun.
The open tournament was won by the Amazing Galaxy Warriors second team who beat a spitrited Drifters team from Macassar. The Pro Series was won by the Amazing Galaxy first team who beat the Touch Formers in the final.
The action moves to the Strand on Thursday 16th December
