ITS MAYNARDT TIME AGAIN
[Thursday, December 16, 2010 22:25:35]Thursday 16th December saw 63 teams competing against each other in blusterry conditions at the Strand Beach.
The wind did not dampen any spirits and after the fun and games of Muizenberg, the Strand South Easter and a sprinkle of rain did little to affect the players enthusiasm...
The Open tournament was won by the Touch Formers second team. The Pro Series was blown wide open when Muizenberg winners, the Amazing Galaxy Warriors lost in the Quarter Finals against the Two A Transport Warriors. The Maynardt Touchies boys who were smarting from their early exit at Muizenberg put in a faultless performance throughout the day to recapture the title they won at Strand a year ago!
The series moves on to Onrus on Sunday...
